This is what working feels like…

So, Last week began my career for the rest of my life… well at least till I’m 51 and can retire The week was spent cleaning out the mess of a room I was left with. I would not have been able to get everything ready if it weren’t for my wonderful amazing hubby mom and bff… They were my ultimate lifesavor and I thank them and treasure them dearly! Yesterday began my first week with students. I was nervous at first, but the lord has blessed me with a wonderful class full of amazing children and a great assistant. I couldnt honestly ask for any better. I feel like Im at home, I have went to school for 3 years to do this and now i am finally here exactly where I want to be.
A funny story from my first day of school experience begins like this… I had all the kids trickling in early and some late and I had one child that was pretty upset to be away from her mom. When another parent that was dropping off her little girl walked in she was met by this crying student with open arms. Of course like all mothers she embraced her and then she began to sobb like a baby too. All I could do was laugh bc we have the old and the young meeting in my room and they are acting the exact same. Funny and cute all at the same time. Just thought I should share Im almost done with day two, all thats left is getting them on the right bus and in the right car, hell if i did it right the first day I think I’m more than capable today
